The Seagate Lightsaber Collection Special Edition SSDs Have The Best Heatsinks

It’s Not Just Pretty, It’s EKWB Too

The Seagate Lightsaber Collection Special Edition SSDs have a lot going for them.  They feature some of the most iconic lightsabers displayed on a heatsink, which happens to have been designed by EKWB and they while they do sell for a bit of a premium they aren’t insanely overpriced.

The drives use Phison’s PS5018-E18 PCIe 4.0 controller, Micron B47R TLC NAND and a DDR4-2666 cache so the performance will be similar to many of the PCIe 4.0 drives on the market.  That beast out in testing, with solid middle of the road performance in a very crowded market.  The temperatures on the other hand are top of the charts, with as impressive as a performance as you would expect from EKWB.
